NEW YEAR, NEW TALENT: BTS WELCOMES NORFOLK AREA MANAGER

bts Group Ltd welcomes Sam Ash as its new area manager for Norfolk. Sam begins the new year in a new role, starting at bts from January 2020.

She brings years of experience managing infrastructure operations, joining bts from her position as operational hub co-ordinator at Claret Civil Engineering (partnered with Anglian Water). She held similar roles in the oil and gas industry.

As area manager for Norfolk, Sam will work with UK Power Networks to keep service lines clear and safe, deploying skilled teams to manage vegetation around the network.

Before bts

Before her move into infrastructure, Sam founded and ran a successful construction company with her husband. The company was sold when Sam helped her husband through a serious illness.

After his recovery, she worked her way through the ranks of hospitality, earning positions in the upper management of major venues.

Sam then took the skills learned in business ownership, construction, and hospitality, and applied them to large-scale operational management.

Core value compatibility

Sam’s skills are a perfect complement to bts’s core values: Expertise, Passionate, Partner, Responsible. Her abilities in client relations, operational management and project co-ordination have proven effective across several sectors.

She’s looking forward to, “building new relationships, gaining new skills, and new knowledge,” at bts Group Ltd.
